Amazon Singapore Listing Images: Amazon Rules, SAFETY Mark, and Product Labels

Verify Amazon.sg image dimensions and document controlled goods safety marks accurately.
For Amazon Singapore, a legible product gallery and a legally supplied product are separate checks. Controlled Goods registration, food labeling and supplement claims have different scopes. A SAFETY Mark drawn onto a slide is not evidence that a model is registered.
Checked on 19 October 2026; review by 19 January 2027. The local Amazon help body was not publicly readable. CPSO, SFA and HSA sources below support the product-specific considerations, not an unverified Amazon image-suppression rule.
Create listing images from your product photos
Paste your Amazon, Flipkart, Walmart, or Meesho product link or upload phone shots. Picmato recommends listing image templates tailored to your product. Review the plan and choose which images to generate; a nine-image plan does not guarantee nine finished images or nine visible gallery slots. AI renderers do not guarantee an exact RGB value, so check with a color picker before uploading.
Which Amazon image specifications should you check for Singapore?#
Check Product image requirements in the amazon.sg Seller Central store and the style guide for your product category. The local help page did not expose its policy body in our public-source check on 19 October 2026. We cannot certify an exact local upload minimum or zoom threshold from that page. The linked Amazon.com guide is a reference with US scope, not proof of an identical local rule.
Our production recommendation is a sharp 2,000-pixel square master when your original photograph supports it. That is a working export target, not an Amazon mandate. Keep the full product visible, avoid inventing accessories, and check the destination requirements before cropping or exporting.
| Item to verify | Evidence and status | Practical action |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum upload size | Local policy body unavailable in this public check | Read the selected store’s current image requirements before upload |
| Zoom threshold | Separate from minimum upload size; not independently verified locally | Inspect the final pixel dimensions and live detail-page zoom |
| Export size and crop | Picmato recommendation, not a local requirement | Use a sharp 2,000-pixel square master where appropriate |
| Main and secondary content | Placement and category rules need local confirmation | Keep promotions, invented badges and unsupported claims out of the gallery |
When should your evidence include a SAFETY Mark?#
CPSO’s Consumer Protection (Safety Requirements) Regulations overview identifies Controlled Goods that must be tested, registered and marked before supply. Its guidance places the SAFETY Mark on the product or its packaging. That is different from a requirement to place a floating logo in an Amazon spec slide.
Check the exact model against its registration, then photograph the real mark and identifier where appropriate. We did not verify a local Amazon policy stating that a particular gallery placement prevents suppression. Do not add a mark to goods outside the relevant scope or to an unregistered model.
| Product situation | Product review | Gallery decision |
|---|---|---|
| Potential Controlled Good | Check CPSO category and model registration | Photograph the real authorized mark and identifier |
| Prepacked food | Review applicable SFA labeling requirements | Use the finalized retail label; do not invent dates |
| Health supplement | Check HSA claims guidance for that category | Review every benefit claim before composing a slide |
| Other goods | Identify the applicable category framework | Do not assume a SAFETY Mark is required |
What do food and supplement sellers need to review?#
SFA’s Labelling Requirements for Food page applies to businesses offering prepacked food and points to additional requirements by product and claim. It does not establish that expiry information must appear on every Amazon packaging slide. Use the final pack and the relevant disclosure workflow.
HSA’s Health supplement claims guidance restricts disease-treatment and prevention claims. Do not convert an ordinary feature callout into a disease claim or imply HSA endorsement. Food, supplements and cosmetics are not interchangeable categories; identify the product classification before selecting the source rules.
How would you prepare an appliance model for Singapore?#
Assume the seller has already established that an appliance is a Controlled Good and has supplied the model’s actual registration evidence. The image work starts with those records, not with a requested certification graphic.
This is an illustrative preparation exercise, not a tested seller result or certification example. Replace every placeholder with your own measured and documented product facts.
| Asset | Evidence to supply | Review before use |
|---|---|---|
| Main photo | Exact appliance model and accessories | Show the version shipped |
| Label close-up | Actual SAFETY Mark and model identifier | Compare with the manufacturer’s registration records |
| Specification slide | Manufacturer-approved electrical specifications | Do not infer performance from the plug shape |
| Pack photo | Final Singapore-sale packaging | Keep any legitimate warning text legible |
What should you check before uploading?#
Treat this as an editorial preparation checklist. Confirm the actual marketplace requirements and product obligations separately; a good-looking gallery is not evidence of product certification.
- Confirm the store, exact product variant, category and current image policy.
- Check CPSO applicability and the exact model before using a SAFETY Mark.
- Review food or supplement copy under its own framework.
- Keep pricing and promotion details out of these example gallery assets.
- Check pixel dimensions, crop, readable text and the exported background color.
- Preview on a phone and desktop; inspect the live listing after upload.
Where can Picmato help, and what must you still verify?#
Picmato recommends listing image templates tailored to your product. A nine-image plan describes the planned main image and eight further image purposes; it does not promise nine finished images or nine visible Amazon gallery slots. Review the available plan and choose which images to generate.
The main-image brief is directed to a plain white studio background. AI renderers do not guarantee an exact RGB value; inspect the exported file with a color picker before uploading. Check the product shape, sold quantity, dimensions, every rendered word and any depicted accessories against your own evidence.
Use original packaging photographs for label details, identifiers, warnings and authorized marks. Picmato does not check marketplace or legal compliance and does not verify a translation. This guide does not establish successful URL imports from every Amazon country domain. Use your own product photos when an import is unavailable.
All dimensions, RGB requirements, and technical guidelines in this playbook are verified directly against official 2026 seller portal specifications (Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Marketplace, Flipkart Seller Hub, and FSSAI standards).

Frequently asked questions
Does every Amazon.sg product need a SAFETY Mark?
No. CPSO’s guidance concerns Controlled Goods, not every consumer product. Establish whether the exact product falls within that scope and whether the model is registered. A real mark on the product or packaging is different from a graphic added to a listing. We did not verify an Amazon-specific spec-slide placement rule.
Must food expiry details appear in a secondary image?
Do not infer that from this guide. SFA’s requirements concern food labeling, with product-specific details and exceptions requiring separate review. Our source check did not establish a universal Amazon secondary-image expiry rule. Photograph the genuine final pack and use the applicable listing fields; never fabricate a date to fill an infographic.
Can I use health claims from another country’s listing?
Review them again for the Singapore product classification and placement. HSA’s supplement guidance restricts disease-treatment and prevention claims, including implications. A phrase used elsewhere is not evidence that it is suitable here. Check the approved product facts and applicable authority before translating or copying a benefit into a gallery image.
