Turn ordinary product photos into scroll-stopping listings
A quick phone snap is enough to start. Picmato reads your product from the photo and generates a fresh studio-quality image around it, so your main image and gallery look like they came out of a proper studio. Your catalog finally looks the way your product deserves.

What image rules do Amazon and Flipkart actually enforce?
Amazon's automated checks are stricter than most sellers realize. The main image must sit on pure white, exactly RGB (255, 255, 255). Off-white and cream read as violations. Amazon requires the product to fill at least 85% of the frame, shown as a real photograph with no text, logos, watermarks, badges, or props that aren't in the box. Resolution matters too: Amazon requires at least 1,000 px on the longest side for zoom to work and recommends 1,600 px or larger. Break these rules and your listing gets suppressed, hidden from search until you upload a compliant replacement.
Flipkart runs its own cataloging QC with different tripwires. Images under 500 x 500 px are auto-rejected, and 1,000 x 1,000 px squares are the recommended standard for zoom. Per Flipkart's guidelines, the first image must be a front view, watermarks, price tags, and promotional text are banned on every image, and mannequins are not allowed in fashion shots. Flipkart also rejects obvious graphic renders: it wants a real photo of the product. Passing one marketplace's check does not mean you pass the other's.
| Rule | Amazon | Flipkart |
|---|---|---|
| Main background | Pure white, RGB (255, 255, 255) | Plain white or light grey |
| Resolution | 1,000 px minimum for zoom, 1,600 px+ recommended | 500 x 500 px floor, 1,000 x 1,000 px recommended |
| Frame fill | At least 85% of the frame | Roughly 85% of the frame |
| Text and logos | Banned on the main image | Banned on all images, including price tags |
| First image | Real photo, one product, no packaging | Front view, real photo, no mannequins |
How do you build an image stack that clears every listing?
Start with the main image, because that's where suppressions happen. Upload your raw shot and Picmato generates a fresh main image on a plain white studio background, at 1K, 2K, or 4K, so you can sit comfortably above Amazon's 1,600 px recommendation. One honest caveat: AI renderers do not guarantee an exact RGB value, so open the export in a colour picker and confirm the white before you upload. Picmato does not scan the finished file for you; that last check is yours.
Then make the gallery earn its keep. Both marketplaces loosen up after the first slot: Amazon allows infographics, lifestyle scenes, models, and comparison charts in secondary images, recommends six or more images per listing, and gives you up to nine slots in most categories. Flipkart tolerates lifestyle and infographic content in secondary slots too. The winning stack is one strictly compliant white main plus a gallery that actually sells: a lifestyle scene, a dimensions graphic, a detail close-up. Picmato generates the whole set from the same upload in one run, so a 40-SKU catalog shot on a phone becomes marketplace-ready without booking a studio.

Marketplace Image Enhancement: questions answered
Can Picmato create white background product images?
Yes. The main-image shot type is directed to a plain white studio background, which is what Amazon, Flipkart, and Meesho want for a primary image. AI renderers do not guarantee an exact RGB value, so check the result with a colour picker before you upload. For gallery and ad images you can place the product in a lifestyle scene or on a branded backdrop instead.
What resolution are the images?
You choose 1K, 2K, or 4K at generation time, and the credit cost scales with it. 2K and 4K clear Amazon's recommended 1,600px-on-the-longest-side guideline for zoom with room to spare, so shoppers can zoom in without your product turning into a blurry mess.
Why did Amazon suppress my product listing image?
The usual cause is a main image that breaks Amazon's rules: a background that isn't pure white RGB (255, 255, 255), text or logos on the image, a product filling less than 85% of the frame, or resolution below the 1,000 px zoom minimum. Amazon hides suppressed listings from search until you upload a compliant image. Picmato plans each shot around those rules up front, so the main image is generated on a plain white studio background with the product alone and no overlays.
What are Flipkart's product image requirements for sellers?
Flipkart auto-rejects images smaller than 500 x 500 px and recommends 1,000 x 1,000 px squares so zoom works. Per Flipkart's guidelines, the first image must be a front view, and watermarks, price tags, and promotional text are banned on every image. Mannequins are not allowed in fashion shots. Backgrounds should be plain white or light grey. Picmato generates images that follow these rules from a single upload.
Are AI-enhanced product images allowed on Amazon and Flipkart?
Neither marketplace publishes a rule banning AI-enhanced images; what both enforce is accuracy. Your image must truthfully show the physical product you ship, so edits that fabricate features or misrepresent scale violate policy no matter what tool made them. Amazon even offers its own AI background generator for ads. Picmato generates from your real product photos or your live listing and keeps the product itself faithful, which is what keeps you on the right side of both policies.
