Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026

Picmato (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website and creative generation platform available at picmato.com. This policy explains what information we collect from you, how we use it, and the choices you have. We comply with applicable Indian and global data protection laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide, maintain, and improve our services. This includes:

  • Account information: your name, email address, and credentials when you create an account or sign in.
  • Uploaded content: product URLs (such as Amazon, Walmart, Flipkart, or Meesho links), raw product photographs, brand assets, and textual specifications you submit to generate listing visuals.
  • Generated content: the catalog images, lifestyle scenes, infographics, variation assets, and creative briefs produced for your account.
  • Billing information: purchased credit packs, subscription plans, invoice details, and transaction receipts. Credit/debit card and UPI details are processed securely by our payment gateways and are never stored on our servers.
  • Technical & usage data: device model, browser type, IP address, and pages visited, collected through standard server logs and cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To deliver the listing generation and image enhancement service you requested.
  • To create and manage your account, workspaces, and credit vault.
  • To process payments, issue invoices, and manage automated credit restorations.
  • To send transactional emails such as login links, receipts, usage alerts, and service updates.
  • To improve generation quality, fix bugs, enhance model prompt pipelines, and maintain uptime.
  • To detect abuse, prevent fraudulent activity, and comply with legal requirements.

3. Your Content & Privacy

Your uploads and generated images are stored securely on managed cloud storage. We treat your product catalogs and brand assets with strict confidentiality:

  • We do not share your private product images with other users.
  • We do not sell your personal data or uploaded media to third parties.
  • We do not use your product photographs to train public AI models.

Commercial Ownership: You own every image you generate on Picmato and may use it for any commercial or business purpose, including online marketplace listings (Amazon, Walmart, Flipkart, Meesho, eBay, Shopify), Instagram, ads, and print media.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We only share data with vendors who help us operate the service, under strict contracts that restrict their use solely to our instructions. These include:

  • Cloud hosting and storage providers (e.g. AWS).
  • Authentication and security services for sign-in verification.
  • Payment gateways for processing subscription and credit transactions.
  • Email delivery providers for transactional communications.
  • Performance monitoring and error logging services.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or a valid government request, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of our users.

5. Cookies & Analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your session settings. We use limited analytics tools to understand product usage and improve performance. You can control cookies from your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies will prevent logging in.

To identify where users face friction, we may analyze interface interactions (such as screens visited and controls clicked). These diagnostics exclude your private content: photos you upload or generate are not captured, typed inputs are masked, and personal credentials are redacted.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and generated creative assets for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, we remove your uploaded media and generated images within thirty days, except where legal or tax regulations require us to retain billing records.

7. Data Security

We apply industry-standard technical measures including encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), encrypted cloud storage at rest, restricted internal access controls, and security logging. While no online service is impenetrable, we continuously audit our infrastructure to safeguard your information.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You may also request a copy of your data or withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time. To exercise these rights, write to us from your registered account address at business@picmato.com.

9. Children's Privacy

Picmato is intended for e-commerce businesses and individuals over eighteen years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. When updated, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
